Introducing | Spice Boys

By Kieran Webber

Swedish punk quartet Spice Boys have been leaving a serious dent in their local music scene so much so that they have recently been picked up by Punk Slime Recordings.

The band which consists of Adam Forsberg, Jesper Lindkivst, Emil Uppenberg and Sebastian Holmlund – have only been around for 6 months but have already established themselves as the most exciting new band in Umeå, Sweden.

With a no-nonsense approach and no clear set of influences in regard to sound and aesthetics the band starting writing what would become their debut debut EP ‘Spice City’, and within a month they’d both finished writing and recording it. Fuelled by broken hearts, unemployment and a love of garage rock.

To get you excited for the imminent release they shared single ‘It’s Coming’, a glistening garage rock tune with a belter of a riff.
