Song Of The Week | Vulgarians – Hands Around The Waste

By Kieran Webber

This weeks SOTW comes from┬áthe Wytches approved post-punk outfit Vulgarians, their latest release and first single ‘Hands Around The Waste’ taken from their forthcoming ‘Almost Extinct, Almost True’ EP, set for release May 5th.┬áThe new EP was recorded with Hookworms‘ MJ (also behind Drenge, Eagulls & Pulled Apart By Horses records), after he offered up both his production skills & Suburban Home studio following a chance encounter with the band.

‘Hands Around The Waste’┬á(inspired by a strange encounter with a taxi driver) is a howling post-punk track oozing in attitude and angst, with its snarling vocals and infectious riff it was a no brainer to as why it’s our SOTW.
