Ones To Watch | The Eskimo Chain

By Kieran Webber

Today we want to introduce to you one of our favorite discoveries of the year, the London based art-rock band The Eskimo Chain. Formed in Margate by Luke Spinks, Matthew Mullins, Patrick C Smith and Joseph Flaig, The Eskimo Chain‘s sound radiates psychedelia and garage, with a nod to lo-fi ambient pop, 90s alternative rock and shoegaze. The four piece have already supported bands such as Temples and are regular features at The Shacklewell Arms In Dalston.

This year will see the release of the bands much awaited EP recorded by Margo Broom at Hermitage Studios and mastered by Felix Davies at Metropolis. You can listen to the second single ‘We Are Subcode’ below.

The Eskimo Chain are fast becoming a must see act due to their ferocious live performance which sees an intense mix of riffs and psychedlia bundled into one beautiful package. Keep your eyes out for their EP and for when they come rolling through your town.
