Like a lot of people I have been watching the Call Of Duty series deteriorate into a horrible, jet-pack filled mess that has lost all soul and dignity. For a long time I have been yearning of a Call Of Duty that went back to it’s roots of a WWII shooter that provided a thrilling story backed by intense and (somewhat) realistic gameplay.
Well, the wait is finally over and Sledgehammer studios have taken Call Of Duty back to familiar territory, say goodbye to dabbing and neon skins and make way for thousand yard stares and battle scarred M1-Garands.
Judging by the reveal trailer we are in for one hell of a ride with Call Of Duty WWII and they aim to throw us into the true bloody, gritty chaos that is war.
