Tomorrow we make our way to Boardmasters 2023 and with this in mind here are 5 artists we cannot wait to see!
The festival is officially underway with surfing, events in Newquay, and silent disco’s taking place but the party really begins this Friday. Across the weekend we are going to be treated with world class music (and hopefully sunny weather). However, across the line-up there are 5 in particular we CANNOT wait to see live.
Little Simz

The London artist Little Simz skyrocketed into mainstream success with her iconic ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’. It was an instant hit and resonated with audiences across the country. Critically it was well received by tastemakers and earned countless accolades, including four BRIT nominations.
Little Simz 90’s infused flow will be a true sight to behold during her Boardmasters set, bringing modern relevance with her insightful lyricism, matched by beats that would make J Dilla weep. This is a rare opportunity to see one of the best UK artists in action in a truly unique location. Do not miss out!
Warmduscher

Warmduscher are one of the most exciting bands around at the moment. Fusing post-punk, freakazoid rock, and much more into one energetic and charismatic ball that is wildly infectious.
We caught these wild men during their recent stint at SXSW in Texas, it was a hell of an experience and one we cannot wait to be a part of again, on home turf!
Pale Blue Eyes

The Pale Blue Eyes are truly a wholesome band. There is an air of nonchalance that is delightfully comforting. In a time where everything feels so serious the Pale Blue Eyes bring some fun with their indie-pop that carries similarities to Everything Everything synth driven sounds.
If you’re looking for something to uplift your spirits and boogie too then DO NOT miss the Pale Blue Eyes.
Florence & The Machine

There’s not much we can say about Florence + The Machine that hasn’t already been said, she is a true icon. From footage we’ve seen and conversations with friends that have seen her, her sets are nothing short of totally epic. It’s safe to say that Florence puts on a performance that is completely powerful and celebratory of womanhood.
There is no doubt that Florence is going to be one of the most remembered, iconic, and spoken about headliner that Boardmasters has ever had.
Yard Act

One of the UK’s most exciting new indie outfits are finally making their way down south. After the success of their debut album ‘The Overload’, the band found themselves skyrocketing to success. Now they make their way across the world treating fans to their poignant, often tongue-in-cheek, witty lyricism.
Their raw, high octane energy, matched with their insightful songwriting are going to make Yard Act a must watch at Boardmasters 2023.
