One of our favorite festivals returns to us this year and we couldn’t be more excited to get lost in The Wyldes. Last year was our debut year at the festival and from day one we were in awe of the festival. The mystical woods in which the festival sits in is mesmerising, the curation of music is top tier and the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. Last year saw top performances from IDLES, Moriarty, Demob Happy and PINS (just to mention a few). The 2019 lineup is looking ridiculously fun and is filled with plenty of amazing artists, here are just five we cannot wait to see.

The Vaccines

The Vaccines Leopallooza

This one goes without saying but naturally we are VERY excited to see The Vaccines tear up The Wylde. The Indie-rock band have been responsible for a variety of thunderously epic tunes that are played around the world. Not to mention their notoriously invigorating live performances. Get your dancing shoes on for this one, it’s going to be a lot of fun!

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets

By Chris Young

Arguably one of the strangest band names ever created. However, don’t let that distract you from the Australian psychedelic rock outfit blowing your mind at Leopallooza. The Perth based band have gained notoriety for their tangent filled psychedelic rock that is as nonchalant as it is heavy. Get ready for a barrage of infectious riffs, intricate fuzz filled psychedelic garage rock.

Lady Bird

Lady Bird Bristol Punk
by Kieran Webber

The three piece “punk bunch” from Kent have been making waves throughout the U.K in the past year with a string of notable live shows. They’ve also supported pals Slaves on last years ‘Acts Of Fear And Love’ tour. What you’re going to get from Lady Bird is an infectious barrage of socially aware commentary on today’s world, branching subjects such as politics, life and everything in between.

Listen to ‘LOVE’ here:

Haggard Cat

Riff monsters Haggard Cat are here to fuck with your ears. It is with the highest confidence that I proclaim Haggard Cat to be one of the most riff heavy bands at Leopallooza this year. Prepare for plenty of noise, lots of headbanging and plenty of crowdsurfing. This will 100% get very wild.

Get ya chops around ‘Bone Shaker’ here:

Heavy Lungs

By Matthew Kiss

You’ve no doubt heard the lead singers name being chanted at any performance from IDLES. The man behind the song ‘Danny Nedelko’ is the frontman of Bristol based punk unit Heavy Lungs. Their pulsing, raw and passionate punk music is capturing the city of Bristol and is likely to spread across the whole of the UK. Be ready for an explosive performance that will spread their conscious punk throughout the festival.

Mother Vulture

By Kieran Webber

If you follow us then you know how much we love Mother Vulture! They are arguably one of the U.K’s most exciting rock bands that have emerged in a long time. Riddled in uncontrollable energy and heavy riffs, tasty solos and howling vocals you are sure to get your socks rocked off. Do not miss these guys, they are going to be fucking nuts.

Listen to new single ‘Mr Jones’ here:

The Rezner

By Kieran Webber

Cornwalls indie punk rockers are heading to The Wyldes to treat us to their anthemic, catchy and untamed sound. These four lads are oozing in cool and always put on a memorable show, no doubt this will be the same for Leopallooza.

The Pale White

By Daniel Stark

The Pale White are designed to be playing to large festival crowds due to their catchy indie rock. With soft yet empowering vocals and a rhythm section to make AC/DC blush these guys are going to be a must see at Leopallooza.

Other notable bands not to miss are Flowers of Palo, Disco Rococo, The Big Sets, Flyte, Gengahr, Crooked Little Sons, King Charles, Crows, Feeder, Friendly Fires, Crooked Little Sons, The Eyelids.
