A. Smyth is an upcoming Dublin, Ireland artist whose new single ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ is a dreamy folk-rock song reminiscent of artists such as Belle & Sebastian and Elliot Smith.
With a gently plucked banjo lead and soaring ethereal vocals blended together for a soft, beautiful sound, you get hit with this electrifying guitar solo that leads you on a climb towards something that seems almost out of reach.
The song ruminates on time, the future, our choices and regrets. Smyth manages to give us just over 3 minutes, where you can look back on all these things and feel hopeful that better times are on the horizon.
