Billie Eilish Will be Headlining Glastonbury 2022 Making Her The Youngest Solo Artist To Do So

Billie Eilish will headline Glastonbury’s iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2022, the youngest solo artist to ever to do so. It will be Billie’s second time performing at the festival, her first was three years ago.

Glastonbury organisers wrote in a statement: “We are very excited to confirm that Billie Eilish will headline the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night at Glastonbury 2022, to become the Festival’s youngest ever solo headliner. This will be her first UK festival headline performance.”

The confirmation came hours after the singer posted on her Instagram story a picture of her wearing a Worthy Farm hoodie with the caption ‘2022’.

Billie will be the first female headliner at the festival since 2016, however Taylor Swift was booked to play in 2020, but Covid unfortunately lead to the date being cancelled along with 2021.

There are also rumours that Elton John is set to be announced as a Headliner in the coming weeks, as fans noticed a gap in his tour schedule that falls over Glastonbury.
