The indie supergroup are hitting London and Halifax, with MUNA and Ethel Cain

One of the most hotly anticipated albums of 2023 is coming via the sad-girl indie group, boygenius – made up of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. The three indie heavyweights first shot to critical acclaim as a supergroup with their 2018 self-titled EP, and the trio recently announced their debut full-length, ‘the record’ with three stellar singles.

Today, details were released of a pair of live performances, boygenius‘s first ever in the United Kingdom. A huge show at Gunnersbury Park in London will take place on August 20th, with a more intimate show at The Pierce Hall in Halifax on August 22nd. The London show will feature the also critically acclaimed MUNA and Ethel Cain (the latter landed in our best albums of 2022 list), with many more special guests to be confirmed. Ethel Cain will also join boygenius at the Halifax show too.

Album pre-order registration is open now, ahead of general release on March 3rd at 10AM GMT via https://shopuk.xboygeniusx.com

Debut album ‘the record’ is out on March 31st via Interscope and Polydor.
