Hailing from Victoria BC, Canada is the psychedelic five piece Cartoon Lizard, a band that blends tranquility with psych pop elements. Creating a peaceful and calm soundscape that draws the listener in. On the surface their music is simple but after several listens the deep intricate layers of their music unfolds.

Their latest single ‘Lay Of The Land’ is a mesmerising, simplistic approach to psych-pop with a dash of folk music. The track is driven forward by the harmonising vocals and subtle strokes of the guitar, backed by soft percussion, taking a dream-state approach. It’s a calming song that has a certain serenity, carrying a similar sound to Jacco Gardner.
