Charli XCX joins forces with Rina Sawayama for new single ‘Beg For You’, taken off the forthcoming album ‘CRASH’

Charli XCX has released her sensational new single ‘Beg For You featuring the incredible Rina Sawayama. After a long friendship this is their first collaboration and a great one too, having been picked as Radio 1’s hottest record.

Opening the track is a harp melody that harks back to classic dance tracks of the 00’s, something that happens again later in the track with the use of the iconic dance sample from September Cry For You. Infinitely catchy, this is likely to be stuck in your head for days. Full of energy with a nod to the classics whilst remaining modern, it’s hard to not listen on loop. The track is produced by Digital Farm Animals who has worked with other artists such as Anne-Marie, KSI, Louis Tomlinson and Noah Cyrus (to name a few).

This single is part of Charli’s fifth studio album, due for release on the 18th of March, which already features the other singles, Good Ones and New Shapes featuring Caroline Polachek and Christine & The Queens. This is the last album of her record deal contract with Atlantic Records which she signed at just 16. Shortly after the albums release, Charli will be headed out on her 36-date live tour of throughout North America, Europe and the UK, starting in California on the 26th of March and ending at Nottingham’s Rock City on the 23rd of May.

Charli’s career first started when she began posting songs on MySpace back in 2008 and since then she has gone from strength to strength having won 21 awards for her efforts, including Best Track at the 2018 NME’s and having been nominated for upwards of 70 others. She has numerous Top 10 singles in the UK including her number 1 single with Icona Pop’sI Love It.
