CHEEKBONE have won over multiple music blogs and publications as well as gained support from BBC Radio 6 and BBC Introducing. It comes as no surprise due to their anthemic and daringly infectious indie rock n roll is utterly mesmerising.
Their latest release ‘This City’ is a shining example of the bands choppy Strokes-esque sound. The pulsing riff drives the track forward whilst angst riddled vocals reverberate around the listener. It’s a big and full sound that bounces its way through the 3 minute mark. There is no denying that CHEEKBONE know how to write an earworm.
