It was pretty simple for the two founding members Will Gray and Katie Earl, either form a get married or form a band. A pairing of two last names that was meant to be. They formed the latter and created the Earl Gray Collective in 2018. After some experimentation and the addition of Zac Guy (Electric Guitar) and Alex Neil (Bass) the collective found their indie-soul/funk-rock fusion.
Now the band have hit the year running with a string of singles. Catching the ears of fans new and old. The latest release ‘Love It Flows’ boasts the bands diverse and ever evolving sound. It’s filled to the brim with soulful vocals, beautiful harmonies and gentle guitar strokes. There is a bountiful level of positivity felt throughout the song that is undeniably uplifting. In these strange and uncertain times, music such as this is indeed a medicine.
