The new release features alongside recent single ‘Nightmares’ on the 7”

Last week Leicester-based band Easy Life shared the second release on their 2-Track Single ‘who gives a f**k’. ‘Pop Tarts’ is featured with ‘Nightmares’, another new track from the band, which has already been streamed over 33 million times. This two-part single release follows an abundance of acclaim and success for the band with their debut mixtape, ‘Junk Food’ charting in the UK Top 10 and winning the ‘Best New British Act’ at the NME Awards at the start of the year.

The first single, ‘Nightmares’, pairs pop hooks and jazz horns with the lyrical focus on the fragility of mental health, especially within the younger generation, “everybody on the brink of crisis”. The single’s flipside, ‘Pop Tarts’, draws more towards the rap and R&B side of the band, exploring the triviality of everyday life encapsulated in a love song.

Easy Life are currently putting the final touches to their debut-album, working with producers such as Bekon (Kendrick Lamar) and FINNEAS (Billie Eilish) and have rescheduled their headline tour, including a sold-out London Roundhouse date, and festival run for 2021.

The 2-track single will be available physically as part of a 7” vinyl which can be pre-ordered now
