New to the scene, London based performer Eltai is releasing her new single ‘Main Line Delays’ which has taken inspiration from artists such as Aphex Twin and Purity Ring.
Eltai creates fluttering strings and bell-like synths that come together with layered vocals and a warm, fuzzy bassline, to create a trance-inducing lullaby to put all at ease. The song provides a quiet reassurance, and is an ode to internal strength and resilience. The lyrics echo the disturbance that you can hear in the string synth, with the final phrase you hear being “I can wait…”. She manages to create a beautiful dreamscape that is impossible to ignore.
