By Kieran Webber

False Advertising are back with the self-recorded and produced ‘Brainless’ EP which is as lyrically hard-hitting as it is musically, with the snarling often sarcastic words and delivery inspired my traumatic events in singer and lyricist Jen Hingley’s life: “I experienced this thing in my family that was just so cruel. It left me helpless, bitter and frustrated. The bulk of the EP is kinda this weird sarcastic take on that feeling of loss.”

‘Piece of My Mind’ is the first teaser track to be taken from the EP a heavy noise rock track with a familiar soundscape as early Smashing Pumpkins.
