The dynamically talented, Fountainhead have treated our ears with their new noise rock single ‘Zipbag’. The fierce vocals of Kai Shaw, purge the song alongside the shoegaze type guitar bassline, from Jasper Fergus and Will Potter, and a punching drum beat, from Aidan Moran. The track brings raw energy like that of Slaves but it is crafted with a Sonic Youth backdrop. These boys have been bringing potent talent to the Cornish music scene from day one, as a college band, exposed to us especially in October last year with their first single ‘Backflip’. They have really developed their own flair, doing covers from the likes of Pixies and Slowthai to now producing their own stuff. We are excited to see how this band grows more.
