‘The Fine Line Of A Quiet Life’ is a documentation of mixed messages you give yourself and take from others about where you feel you should be in your life, and where you’re at.” – band member Murray.

Fur takes the listener on a metaphorical journey throughout the song, this is reflected in the video that is primarily a journey on an old-fashioned bus. The bus journey ends with the band performing their song on the chalk-white cliffs of Seven Sisters in East Sussex.
