The tour will take place throughout the UK during November this year

Glass Animals have been a popular household name for a while now, therefore it was great to hear new music from them in 2020. The third album ‘Dreamland’ by Glass Animals, released in August was set to tour last year. However, the pandemic brought these plans to halt so we’re super excited to hear about 2021’s rescheduled dates.

The success of ‘Dreamland’ has been clear ever since it was first heard by the world. The star track on the album ‘Heat Waves’, is currently sitting at number 1 in the Australian singles chart and number 35 in the Spotify Global Top 50. Since June ‘Heat Waves’ has gained traction globally through radio plays and a sync placement on FIFA which helped to expand the song’s audience of listeners. It was also the first time a UK band has been placed at number 1 on Triple J’s Hottest 100 since Mumford & Sons in 2009.

During the pandemic, Glass Animals brought us more than just a new album as they created a space online to interact with their fans via opensource. Additionally, teaming up with the well-known YouTuber LoverFella, they created a ‘Dreamland’ base in collaboration with Minecraft.

As for their tour in November, the band will be visiting several cities including Glasgow, Bristol, and Brighton. Their final date will take place in the notorious London venue, Alexandra Palace.
