Together, brothers James Clarke (Guitar + Vocals) and Joe Clarke (Keys), along with Joey Stein (Lead Guitar), Naham Muzaffar (Bass) and Sam Launder (Drums) make up the nebulous band The Goa Express. Hailing from across Burnley and Todmorden, now situated as a collective in the heart of the North that is Manchester.

After the release of the single ‘Second Time’ back in late April, the band released Side-B to the single ‘Overpass’ which takes on a completely new sound and perspective blurring the lines between psychedelia and rock’n’roll. ‘Overpass’ takes on a high-spirited rebellious sound, contrasting to the enchanting sister track ‘Second Time’.

When talking about the track, THE GOA EXPRESS say: “Overpass accompanies Second Time as an angry relative, screeching up loudly alongside it. Frantic and chaotic, it exists for the high octane, hustle and bustle of the city. No respite.”

The boys have also announced the dates to their tour and festival lineups for the Summer and Autumn, dates ranging from the 19th July to the 13th November. Already sold out for the late September Manchester show, but many more opportunities to catch tickets to see them. Festivals include: Stag & Dagger Festival, Lune Attack Festival, Green Man Festival, End of the Road Festival and Psych Fest. As well as joining The Magic Gang on tour from the 7th of October.
