The Porthleven based shredders have recently dropped the new single ‘Love Wave’ as well as an accompanying video. As expected it is a ferocious bout of lo-fi garage rock coated in delicious reverb. It carries similarities to early Ty Segall and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. However, the best description one could give of Half Kut is Cornwalls answer to The Chats.
The video sees the loveable goofs tearing it up on their makeshift surf/skateboard and bombing hills, complimenting the overall vibe of the song. It encompasses everything the band are about, infectious surf inspired garage rock that is meant to be enjoyed by the coast.
