IDLES Announce Exclusive Rough Trade ‘Crawler’ Vinyl And Album Release Show At EartH, Hackney, London

Unless you’ve been living under you’ve no doubt heard the news of IDLES new album ‘Crawler’ being announced. The album is expected to hit the shelves November 12th with a variety of limited edition vinyl and exclusives penned for release. In addition to this the band have also released the single ‘The Beachland Ballroom’, a soulful, tear-jerker of a song that tackles addiction and recovery. It carries IDLES renown growled vocals and intensity, yet offers a new side to the band that has perhaps not been heard since their earlier material.

Recently the band also shared the official music video for the lead single, a deep and emotive video that plays into the songs brutally raw lyricism. Frontman Joe Talbot desperately tries to grab the camera whilst being constantly tugged back, perhaps representative with his own struggles with addiction. Either way, it’s a beautifully honest track that is accompanied by wonderful portrayal of said emotions.
