The wait has finally come to an end, IDLES have released new music. After a much deserved rest the band seem to be ready to conquer us all over again with latest release ‘Mr. Motivator’.
The rampaging single is yet another example of the bands ability write daringly infectious music. We expect the repeat button to be almost violated by this release. It’s barrage of positivity that comes striking down with an enormous sound. Talbot’s vocals burst through, followed by deep, heavy percussion and that classic driving guitar that IDLES have become known for.
Speaking about the rallying track lead singer Joe Talbot says: “We want to start this journey with a means to not only encapsulate the album’s sentiment, but to encourage our audience to dance like no one is watching and plough through these dark times with a two tonne machete of a song and the most beautiful community of scumbags ever assembled. Let’s go. All is love.”
