Christmas has really come early for us here at Clunk as our inbox has been full of fantastic music with one band in particular really catching our ear.

In this edition of our introducing section we invite you to check out Hey Bulldog a Manchester Psychedelic Blues Rock band.

Starting out as a germ of an idea by frontman Rob Manton (Guitar/Vocals) he then met a pair of like minded cohorts in Matt Parry (Bass) and Ben Howarth-Lees (Drums).

Since then they have played a number of medium and smaller sized festivals all over the UK and have had support slots with SLUG (Field Music), Joel Gion (Brian Jonestown Massacre), Howlin Rain, Frightened Rabbit, J Roddy Walston & The Business, Mazes, Syd Arthur, and The Virgin Marys.

More recently they have a brand new Single ‘Under My Spell,’ the garage rock track was recorded at Manchester’s Crack Studios and produced by guitarist and songwriter Rob Manton who teamed up once again with EMI producers Boe Weaver (Archie Bronson Outfit, Pete Molinari, Wolf People, Whyte Horses) who offered to take on the mixing duties.

Working with a record label for the first time, ‘Under My Spell’ will also be available on Limited Edition Cassette via Liverpool independent psych and garage label Blak Hand Records (The Lucid Dream, TVAM, Sundowners).
