The Finnish band have become one of the country’s most sought after live acts as well as causing a storm across Europe due to their electric performance, oh and not to mention that their is five (sometimes six) guitarists in the band. This begs the question, can you have too many guitars in one band? Well if you can Teksti-TV 666 are not an example of this. Imagine Explosions In The Sky and King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard blended into one beautiful bag of psychedelic tangent, the five guitars provide a constant peeling of layers, riff after riff riots through your body pushing you near to spasm.
With over 100 shows played in just three years and three critically acclaimed EPs behind them, the band’s reputation is rapidly on the rise. Their upcoming release ‘1,2,3’ is a collection of their three sold out EP’s, and will be released on 2 LP’s and CD formats by SVART on November 4th.
If you are looking for a band that expertises on long tangents, full of energy and an unrelenting pace then we cannot recommend this band enough.
