Swedish band Little Birds might fall into the indie-rock category with their music evoking a sound similar to that of the The Strokes and The Wombats circa 2000’s. Their second single with Rexius Records “Little Bird”, is immediately catchy with a nifty introductory guitar riff followed by the warming vocals of frontman Julius Marstorp.

Following the bands first single ‘Know You Better’, ‘Little Bird’ explores and contemplates the feelings that often arise when trying to comfort someone you care about. Marstorp revealed the story behind the song saying: “I was sitting in my room when suddenly a friend came in, totally devastated, and wanted to talk to me. I felt a bit inadequate and didn’t really know what to say. What I wanted to say became the lyrics for the song.”

An incredibly catchy guitar driven electric soundscape with a certain Nordic melancholia that reflects the enormous musical richness of their native town, Gothenburg.
