The Brighton based artist has just dropped the new single ‘Why I’m Here At All‘. Continuing Jacko Hoopers soulful sound that is remiscent of Ben Howard, Damien Rice and Keaton Henson.
Subtle guitar strokes dance eloquently with gentle vocals, however, lyrically there’s a darker undertone. Hoopers brutally honest and emotive songwriting shines in this latest release. It’s a deeply personal release that is hauntingly beautiful. The track tackles the feeling of inadequacy, yet offers the listener hope. Through the chorus there is an air of positivity.
‘Why I’m Here At All’ is a ballad for the hopeless, a track that is wildly inspiring.
