Australian psych-rock legends King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have been announced as the headliners for Wide Awake 2024
On 25th May 2024, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will be headlining London’s highly anticipated Wide Awake festival. With the band’s 25th (!) album set for release soon, they have an insanely huge back catalogue to select from and we’re sure we’ll be experiencing a career-spanning set.
Wide Awake Festival has quickly climbed the ranks as one of the UK’s most exciting and varied lineups. Last year saw appearances from Caroline Polachek, Jockstrap, Osees, The Bug Club and Gilla Band among many more.
While the rest of the 2024 lineup is being kept under wraps for now, we’re sure it will more than live up to the previous years.
As if you needed any more convincing, Wide Awake also prides itself with providing an equal gender split on its lineup as well as its sustainable ‘Positive Policy’, which was set up to change the way live music events affect the planet.
