The surf rock/psych project fronted by Virginia Beach musician Josiah Schlater has just recently dropped the single ‘The Tao’, taken from their forthcoming LP ‘Heaven On The Rocks’, out March 22nd via Gold Robot Records.
The single is a dreamy surf rock jam that has all the golden elements that is required. From the get go we are introduced to a jangly guitar that quickly bursts into a infectious, pulsing riff. Bursting through is Schlater’s ethereal vocals, creating an atmosphere of tranquility. It’s a hazy track bursting in psych goodness, a perfect compliment to the beautiful spring weather we have been having.
