The Isle of Wight native spent much of 2019 touring as well as supporting US Heavyweights Hippo Campus and The Regrettes during their UK/EU leg. It was a great year for the emerging artist and with the release of ‘Bang Bang Bang’ and another tour announced, there seems to be no signs of slowing down.

Lauran Hibberd is quickly solidifying herself as the queen of slacker-indie pop and her new single ‘Bang Bang Bang’ is a testament to this.

The track comes through with dizzying speed and sugar coated vocals, it’s daringly infectious. It boasts Laurans ability to create fun yet honest music.

Speaking on the track Lauran explains that it “Is my ode to the teenage girl. It’s built for the prom scene in ’10 Things I Hate About You’. It’s the cycle of going back to the same person even when you know you shouldn’t and I guess the fallout of all of that”.
