Multi-Instrumentalist LE JUNK has come bursting through with the new single ‘Rich Romance’, an electro-rock, swagger filled number.
The latest release is a daringly infectious track that takes the groove all the way up to 11. Throughout you are treated to a funk filled baseline and sultry vocals. It’s an extremely fun piece of music but there is a tongue-in-cheek importance to the lyrics. Le Junk explains: “The idea of the track is about how the world is often setup to make way for the rich at the expense of the rest. It was loosely based on the transformation of Hackney Wick in East London after I witnessed our old music and art studio warehouse turn into a luxury apartment block. Hence the lyric “Let’s burn this Wick, cause that’s what it’s for”.
