The Denmark based band Lemon Love has managed to fuse an interesting variety of sounds on his latest single ‘Storm’. Throughout the four minutes you are awash in a soundscape that dances through electronic-indie, indie-rock and even elements of classic rock.
It’s a brooding single that conveys a deep emotion, a battle with ones mind. A song of desperation, we hear the tale of a person who’s losing hope. Although a dark undertone it is a beautiful song that portrays the negative energy masterfully. The ever building track builds much like a storm, the clouds thicken and the sky goes grey until the inevitable explosion happens. This explosion is carried forward by a wailing guitar solo that tears through the thumping percussion. Then as if nothing happened melancholy takes the stand once more.
