In the run up to their slot supporting The Mysterines on their online show streamed from The Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre, LIME have announced the release of their new single ‘Fever’. The previous releases from LIME were firm favourites in the 6 Music playlist and gained an abundance of acclaim from the likes of Phil Taggart, Tom Robinson and Lauren Laverne.
The new single, ‘Fever’, looks to offer a window into the mindset of Generation Z and questions the obsession with aesthetic so intrinsic with current popular culture. The track takes vocal influence from Courtney Barnett and Cate Le Bon, this being amalgamated alongside lo-fi instrumentals and a twist of electronica – adding an updated sound for LIME.
