Electro-acoustic duo Liotia (pronounced Ly-Oh-Sha) have released their new single ‘Be Here (Always)’ a dreamy 80’s inspired track reminiscent of the Cocteau Twins

We are led into the track with Abigail Hubbard’s gorgeous, haunting vocals asking the question “How are we living now?”. This paired alongside Matthew Smyth’s wavy synths, bleeps and drums which continue to build throughout the song makes for a really interesting, otherworldly soundscape that fuses together electronic, trip-hop and singer/songwriter influences.

This is a truly beautiful record that has a sense of nostalgia but also originality that is hard to come by, you really don’t want to miss it.
