Irish indie rock band Pillow Queens have shared their new single, ‘Suffer‘, ahead of their EU and UK tour dates this month
Produced by Collin Pastore (boygenius, Illuminati Hotties, Lucy Dacus), ‘Suffer‘ is a sweeping and anthemic track. The drum-driven sound focuses on the raw and turbulent emotions surrounding the unravelling of a once-cherished relationship.
It is the lyrics which are absolutely captivating, the band delving deep into the world of heartbreak and pulling the emotional strings which anyone can relate to. Lead vocalist Pamela Connolly lends her gravelly vocals to the track, tying the emotional lyrics alongside the soft drum sounds together in perfect harmony.
If heartbreak sounds like this then I’d happily go through it again and again.
