Bands such as Thee Oh Sees and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have opened up a whole world of genre bending artists. The ferocious, mind melting sounds are vibrating through a generation and there are some fantastic bands floating through the airwaves.
One said band that has picked our interest is the kentucky, USA based The Last Origin. Their most recent single ‘God Keeps Calling’ is a delightful barrage of psych tinged garage rock that is unrelenting in its infectiousness. It’s a groove infused number that is pushed forward by hip swinging guitars and echoed vocals with clashing reverb. As expected there is an element of controlled chaos through the tangents of the song, boasting the bands ability to be truly a creative force.
They young band are already making music that far surpassed their peers, of they keep this up they will be a renowned name in the genre.
