Lizzy McApline releases stunning new music video for her hit song ‘Ceilings’
With her second studio album, ‘Five Seconds Flat’ almost out for a full year, Lizzy has released a music video to go along with her most streamed song of that album, ‘Ceilings’.
‘Ceilings’ sits with 60 million streams and has become a well-used TikTok audio mustering up 185M views. It’s on this platform that Lizzy McAlpine built a lot of her success and built her audience.
Lizzy is able to blend folk, acoustic, and indie altogether in a masterful fashion, creating beautifully produced music. It’s a true skill that is on constant show throughout all her releases.
This song, ‘Ceilings’ has a major plot twist right at the outro, making it come to light that this relationship that she has been experiencing has all been in her head. Making us question whether she is daydreaming or simply reminiscing about a past relationship.
