Intro by Kieran Webber

Like the rest of us Jack McEwan of Psychedelic Porn Crumpets spent a lot of time listening to music during the lockdown. He has been kind enough to curate a brilliant playlist of his lockdown jams as well as a word or two about each track.

Badfinger – Baby Blue This was playing in the bottle shop the other day and I had completely forgot of its existence, what a banger.

The Kinks – Supersonic Rocket ship Best summer drinking track of all time? It’s up there. The Kinks are the most underrated band, they’re definitely highly regarded but until they’ve got a statue on every continent I won’t be satisfied.

T. Rex – Telegram Sam Tune and a half, you can’t be unhappy when this is playing. The chorus also has such a good transition, brilliant vocal harmonies.

Fredie King – Going Down When you just need heavy old school blues, look no further.

Link Wray – Fire & Brimstone Carrying on with the theme, my Dad used to smash this tune when he’d get home from the pub and it’s always stayed with me.

Steely Dan – Do it Again All about the production with Steely Dan, mad headphone listens.

Caribou – Bees Really been into the first couple of Caribou albums lately, such a great flavour of production.

Junip – Far Away Always wanted to cover this tack, it’s got such a great thumping rhythm, reckon it’d be huge with some heavier guitars and tight hi-hats.

Santana – Oye Como Va Put this on my Mr. Bump playlist cause it’s made for a nose beer.

Jeff Parker – Get Dressed Ending with the coolest track ever made. It’s soaked in San Francisco nightlife, late night smokey jazz dens and lager denched wooden floorboards.
