Missouri, USA based singer-songwriter Luke Lanzon has released his debut single ‘Saving Grace’. With vibes similar to that of works by Beck and Arcade Fire.
The song has a very mellow, hazy beginning, which then drops us into this beautiful piano ballad. The lyrics seem to be about wanting things that sometimes might seem out of reach but having that person you can always turn to. The way the song builds allows for a spacious, gentle feel that bears similarities to Alex Turner’s ‘Submarine’ in the way that it layers soft sounds to create an overall full atmospheric quality. Lanzon’s vocal, has a raw, vulnerable feeling that really keeps you listening.
