The pandemic and subsequent lockdowns has handed time to creatives all around the world. Time that has never been available before. Although a stressful time and one that is difficult to navigate through, some artists have been hard at work. One such being New York’s Mal The Oddity.
The 80’s influenced bedroom pop artists went on a writing spree and created the new single ‘Right Now’. It’s a dreamy soundscape that is sprinkled in ethereal vocals and futuristic synths. Carrying influence from the likes of Frank Ocean and recent Tame Impala. ‘Right Now’ is over quickly, leaving the listener hanging on for more yet wholly satisfied.
