Summer 2020 is coming to a close in the U.K and it certianly wasn’t what we expected it to be. The pandemic put a strange twist to the traditional experience, if not in some cases straight up cancelling it. Luckily, artists such as Matty And The Loveguns still provided us with a quality soundtrack.
Their latest release ‘Sunshine Love’ is an uplifting summer single. It’s an ode to carefree summer romances that is delivered in a orange tinged, retro package. Sultry vocals take lead whilst delicate guitars breeze behind. This is accompanied by the occasional guitar lick, creating a daringly infectious soundscape.
