Artists such as Moses Boyd are the culmination of old meeting new. Boyd’s impressive fusing of the underground beats of London and jazz is simply masterful. His music presents itself as fresh but is filled with hints of graininess of older records.
Recently the artist shared the visuals for the acclaimed single ‘Stranger Than Fiction’, a noir esque video that is filmed in negative, it really encopasses the Boyd’s music, capturing the spectral energy.
Speaking on ‘Stranger Than Fiction’ Boyd says it “was created to highlight how the world we’re living in can appear so surreal and make you question what is real,” Moses continues, “As we are seeing with current affairs, I feel it’s a question we all need to constantly fight for and contend with – because sometimes the Truth is Stranger than fiction.”
