South West quartet October Drift have announced their debut EP, ‘Stranger Days’, which is scheduled for release on March 25th through Scruff of the Neck Records. In support of the EP, October Drift are out on tour from March onwards, ready to kick it all off with a sold-out show at Manchester’s St Phillips Church.

Available to stream right now, lead track ‘Losing My Touch’ is daringly bold in its direction, yet also incredibly poignant with its lyrical tone. Frontman Kiran Roy explains “it’s a track about self doubt, detailing the struggles of never knowing if you’ve made the right decision with so many factors to consider.”

Coming from a band which is in its early days, it’s a touching statement when the music is used as a vehicle to explore the very experiences of what the band members are going through.

The members of October Drift really came together both as a band and a creative unit throughout 2015, releasing a number of singles to substantial acclaim and touring extensively. With this in mind, ‘Stranger Days’ marks the moment that the band will really step into the true realms of the industry. Here is a band which are undoubtedly motivated and determined, which will surely offer up a truly remarkable year for both October Drift and the ever growing fan base.
