From Yorkshire to South London, Deadletter have released a brand new single off the back of their previous single, ‘The Snitching Hour

Degenerate Inanimate sees frontman Zac Lawrence taking prominence as his deadbeat voice is laid over the track; Lawrence’s mix of spoken word and vocal harmony ramps up as the song progresses.

The sounds of guitar, bass and drums are enhanced by the sound of the saxaphone underscoring the melody. It is a unique touch to the post-punk sound which has seen a re-emergence in the UK over the past few years.

The band take the theme of betrayal and dishonesty and creates a funk-filled track filled with humorous lyrics and groovy baselines.

Fresh off their performance at Glastonbury, the six piece will be heading out on a headline tour later this year.
