South Wales’ very own Ratoon are here to stay. This new track and a new vibe is what will impress listeners the most

A taste of dangerously rebellious sonic concoction of British rock. That is the best way to describe Ratoon.

Comprising of Jack Garrett (Lead Singer & Rhythm Guitar), Sam Davies (Lead Guitar), Matti Huxtable (Bass), and Eifion Davies (Drums), this is a quartet ready to bring the noise to the music world.

They produce captivating indie tunes while becoming a loved band across the UK. From forming during the pandemic via social media to getting national radio play, they are showing that the welsh valleys are bringing the heat.

The new offering ‘Someone Else’ takes influences from Suede, The Black Keys and Green Day. It’s a powerhouse of a track. Listeners will understand why the love of the new track is real. Powerful guitar riffs and soaring vocals are at the heart of everything Ratoon do. The four-piece are taking all the energy from the pandemic and putting it into their music

Speaking on ‘Someone Else’ the band commented: “‘Someone Else is largely based around suspicion, attachment, and miscommunication within a relationship. Something each and every one of us have experienced or witnessed at some point. The power and strength in certain guitar tones and vocal lines scream desperation and frantic fast-paced thoughts, touching all the right emotions at all the right times.”
