The multi-instrumentalist from Long Island, NY returns with uber chill new single and video ‘The Bees Trees’. Taken from his recent debut LP ‘The Thing About Everywhere’.
It continues his mellowed out, indie-surf rock sound. A track layered in warmth, a much needed glow as we descend into the colder months.
Rey‘s soft vocals breeze through a rambling guitar line, remiscent of The Grateful Dead and The War On Drugs. It’s a delightful soundscape that is incredibly inviting. ‘The Bees Trees’ boasts Rey‘s ability to craft music that has a deep connection to nature and his home. Although personal it’s able to connect with the listeners.
