Sydney’s indie duo Royel Otis have released their new single ‘Adored‘, asking us to take better care of ourselves, produced by Speedy Wunderground’s Dan Carey
‘Adored‘ takes influence from post-punk and is a dedication to DIY TLC: the track wants the listener to “partake in some leisurely pleasure” and lets the listener lose themselves in the moment – if only for the length of the track.
Royel Otis say: “‘Adored‘ is about taking time for some DIY TLC. Treat yourself with some leisurely pleasure. Don’t let it bring you down, it’s only castles burning.”
‘Adored‘ is an addictive up-beat track, easy to dance along to and full of melodic bass lines and distorted guitars. If you’re feeling down and don’t know how to find the energy to take care of yourself, do not worry – put on a pot of pasta, turn on ‘Adored‘ and dance along in the kitchen – you should immediately feel a lot better.
