American singer-songwriter, Margaret Glaspy, has announced the release of her third album, the follow-up to 2020’s ‘Devotion‘.
Set to be released on August 18, ‘Echo The Diamond‘ was produced by Glaspy with co-production from her partner, guitarist/composer Julian Lage. Accompanying the announcement is Glaspy’s new single, ‘Act Natural‘, capturing the strange thrill of infatuation, channelling wonder and wide-eyed bewilderment into her lyrics.
Glaspy’s signature sound returns in the new single as she fuses rock through the melody, with her penchant for the guitar relied on throughout, and pop; the nostalgic lyrics of being young and infatuated with someone are wonderful.
The singer has also confirmed US and UK tour dates for later this year.
‘Echo The Diamond’ is out on 18th August via ATO Records.
