Described as ‘A Glittery Gateway drug’Orchards‘ sound, like many bands within the bubbling math/prog-rock scene, is an amalgamation of influences; twiddly, fiddly math-rock riffs with anthemic, feel-good summery vibes and a catchy, pop sensibility. Influences ranging from Foals, Everything Everything and Two Door Cinema Club meshing with the anthemic, math-rock twist and turns akin to the likes of Delta Sleep, Biffy Clyro and TTNG.

Orchards are on the rise, there’s no doubt. Having recently signed to Big Scary Monsters and tours with the likes of Fatherson and Tiny Moving Parts – they’re no strangers to the festival circuit either (Truck, ArcTanGent, 2000 Trees + more).

With a string of ‘hit’ singles gracing the likes of Radio 1 already; 2019 begs for a full-length release from Orchards. Let’s hope they deliver. Bringing math-rock to the masses and showering the world with glitter and positivity.
