Today we are introducing you to the relative newcomers on the Cornish scene, Youth, who come flying out of the sleepy village of St. Austell. Although new on the local scene they have started to cause a bit of a stir after a few live shows. The young band have shown a hunger to be a solid live band and their recordings match this tenacity.

Throughout their music it is clear to see that they are heavily influenced by bands such as Arctic Monkeys and Catfish and the Bottlemen. It’s a delightful bout of infectious indie-rock that has emotive songwriting at its core.

Their latest single ‘Cassette’ is a shining example of the bands talent to write catchy, melody driven indie music. Throughout you are treated to soft, alluring vocals whilst being tickled by a delightful hook.

Youth have a bright future ahead of them and if they keep releasing singles of this quality they are sure to make a name for themselves.
